Yuengling could reduce their impact on global climate change by distributing in KY and not forcing us to drive long distances for a case of lager. The sad news is we may be waiting a while. In a March 2009 interview, Dick Yuengling said he's taking a break and pushing the "pause" button. "No more building, no more brewery acquisitions and no new states after West Virginia is added to Yuengling's lineup this spring, he said." There is only one reasonable response - the KY campaign must become more aggressive!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://bringyuenglingtokentucky.blogspot.com/2009/06/save-planet-yuengling-come-to-kentucky.html' title='Save the Planet Yuengling! Hard to believe! I've was fortunate to stock up on some 12 packs of Yuengling during my holiday travels south, however my supply is dwindling. I was fortunate to have family from both NC and GA celebrate Thanksgiving at our home. Some twelve packs of both traditional Lager and Black & Tan are now chilling in the fridge! For a limited time, the Yuengling Variety Packs are in stores now. As a loyal Yuengling consumer, I am starting a drive to add Kentucky to the list of 12 states now part of the Yuengling distribution territory. Kentucky has states to the east (Virginia) and to the south (Tennessee) that currently sell Yuengling. Georgia was just added at the end of October 2008. It make take a while to convince the Yuengling family to expand to another state, however let's be patient, but persistent. The drive is on!
